On the way back from Hampton Court, we got off of the bus near the London Eye and had lunch, then we went over to the river and took a ride on the Eye. After a bus ride to the Tower Bridge, we walked across it to our hotel and had dinner. Later, Ed went outside to take some night pictures.
After lunch in the shadow of the London Eye, a Duck Boat reminds us of Boston.

Now that we have gone over the top, here is a shot upstream with the Westminster Bridge.
Good angle from up here to get the Houses of Parliament and Westminster Abbey

A picture of the hub of the Eye, like being on a giant bicycle wheel.
Approaching the bottom.
People leaving the pod in front of us. The wheel does not usually stop here. It is going slowely enough that you can just step off while it is moving.
