Day 2 - London Eye - Night Shots

On the way back from Hampton Court, we got off of the bus near the London Eye and had lunch, then we went over to the river and took a ride on the Eye. After a bus ride to the Tower Bridge, we walked across it to our hotel and had dinner. Later, Ed went outside to take some night pictures.
After lunch in the shadow of the London Eye, a Duck Boat reminds us of Boston. International crowd next to the Eye. Inside a pod looking at the scenery The River Thames looking downstream with the Hungerford rail bridge in the foreground

A long shot of Nelson's Column and the National Gallery in Trafalgar Square Now that we have gone over the top, here is a shot upstream with the Westminster Bridge. Good angle from up here to get the Houses of Parliament and Westminster Abbey Playground in Jubilee Gardens, adjacent to London Eye.
A picture of the hub of the Eye, like being on a giant bicycle wheel. Approaching the bottom. People leaving the pod in front of us. The wheel does not usually stop here. It is going slowely enough that you can just step off while it is moving. The wheel from the ground
